I hesitated on this because, traditionally, lower priced exercise equipment are not usually worth it.Fortunately, that is not the case here so here are ny thoughts:- It does take a bit to assemble. We hate assembling anything, so if you have no issues with it, then this will come together well for you. The manual is not particularly helpful, when it comes to assembly though.- Once assembled, you realize that this is a large machine, which is why I have given this 4 stars instead of 5. It is not compact at all and you need lots of space to comfortably work it.Once you get use to using the machine, it actually works well. We do not have to 'yank' on the handles to get it work. It actually does give you a workout.There is a display that helps you keep track and its fairly easy to read. Right now, we are only interested in 'time' and 'calories'. Not sure the calories are totally accurate, but it gives us a point of reference.You can make this workout easier or harder and the machine does a great job of accommodating my fairly large (height wise) husband, as well as my smaller size. Comfortable place for your feet as well. Not overly noisy which is great as this had also been a worry and we put down a piece of rubber underneath the machine and it really helps with noise. Thankfully, the rower does not move when using,Overall, a nice rower, considering the price point.-

First of all, I have to say that I am a very inexperienced rower. I just recently became interested in rowing because I was looking for a full body workout that I can do during the winter time as I can't get out on my bicycle as much.Setup was very easy. Probably took me about 20 minutes tops.The machine is relatively large, which I'm assuming all rowing machines are probably about the same size.I did my research and from what I gathered if you're paying under 500 it's probably not worth purchasing. I could be totally wrong on it because this is the only machine that I've ever had and I've only been using it for a little over a week.Everything on it seems to work very smoothly. It has wheels so you can pick it up and move it around.The seat is very comfortable. The handle is very comfortable. It is not very loud. It kind of just sounds like a fan.It has an adjustable 1 to 10 resistance for the fan. Overall, I'm pretty happy with my purchase for spending right around 600. The only complaint I would probably have about it is the display unit that has the screen and a holder for your phone is not very tight. I'm sure if I messed with it I could probably tighten it up. But if you have a phone on it and you're trying to watch a video or something of that nature while you're rowing, more than likely, it's going to fall forward or fall backwards. Not that big of a deal cuz I'm mainly just listening to music but just something to keep in mind.
Love this, the best exercise machine I have bought. Powerful enough for me and my husbund (both in our 50s) to get back into shape. Its good value for price. Hes 6 foot and it was long enough too.

Only just received but after straight forward putting it all together which was more simple than buying a goldfish bowl. Could not wait to jump on once assembled and this is as good as a Concept you find in the gym and I should know as have over 30 years of rowing in the gym. To think I have over the years spent so much on numerous home rowing machines which have all failed after constant use. Would not hesitate buying again but looking at the quality I won't need to.

I've always "wanted" a rowing machine but the cost and bulk put me off making the investment. Life threw an 18 ton truck at my car and the resulting spinal injury needed some exercise to build up strength in my core. Swimming, physio, and Pilates all help but I thought a rowing machine would also help.This fellow is a little complicated to assemble but I got there in the nd. Fit and finish are good and I find it works well. Being magnetic there isn't much noise and it's light and easy to move around. For the price I think it represents value for money. For someone like me who doesn't want complicated displays and is rowing for the sake of necessary exercise it's just great.If you were serious about the sport I expect you need to spend a few hundred more.
Excellent quality, seems like gym quality, nice tablet holder, can download an ap and race against others on screen and choose from different courses. It has good resistance and like most depends on how you pull but it's not too little resistance. It's comfortable and fits me well, I would imagine is would fit a wide range of heights well. I'm 6'1. Folds and moves very easily. It was also quite easy to build out of the box. No complaints.
Easy to setup and folds fast for storage.This is a fantastic rowing machine for anyone looking to get some quick exercise without a lot of space. We’re able to fold it up and store it under the couch in our living room. Great value as well!

Love this machine has easy to adjust resistance and very smooth movement of the chain. This machine makes working out fun again.Upon receiving the machine I did have a faulty monitor, I reached out to the company and Rissa got back to me within 24hrs after briefly explaining the issue they were able to send me a new monitor that arrived within a week. Overall dealing with the Customer service with this company I have to say they were one of the easiest and most efficient company that I have dealt with. The whole situation was professionally dealt with in a timely manner ensuring my machine wasn't down for a long period.
I've only used this a few times, but so far I'm happy with it. Many years ago I owned a cheap rower and it was ok, but over 10 years ago I got to use a Concept II for a while and I knew I wanted a rower like that. This one appeared to be a decent knock-off and so far I'd say it is. I wouldn't say it's as solid as the Concept II I used years ago, but it's close and I wonder if the new ones are as solid.The assembly for this was fairly simple as you can use the Allen wrench they provide. Mine did have a slight defect where a bolt hole didn't quite line up, but I was able to make it work. That's probably the only real negative and if I wasn't relatively handy it could have been an issue.The unit seems to row nicely. The resistance doesn't seem to go quite as high as I remember from the C2 (and I was in better shape years ago), but it's probably enough for me. If you're a serious rower you'd probably want the C2 or maybe the new Rogue model. IIRC the C2 had a less comfortable seat than this one so that's a plus.It would be nicer if you could just fold this up to move out of the way, but it does separate and go back together easily enough. All in all I'm glad I spent enough to get a really solid rower for about half the cost of the C2.

Well built, well packed, great instructions and all hardware clearly labelled. Other unverified reviews had me nervous but this was a great savings for sure.
Was reluctant to buy this as it only had one review, but it was very positive. My husband and I had been searching for a rower for our home gym. We wanted a C2 as we had both used them in the past, but could not stomach the price at this time, with having to buy other pricey equipment to complete our build. This has all the features of the C2 (chain drive, similar handle and seat/rail feel, air resistance instead of magnet). Build quality is probably a little less than C2, but no issues yet. Fairly easy to assemble, directions and all parts included. The monitor isn't great, but gets the job done and for the price I can't really complain. Overall, very happy with our purchase and glad we did not spend double just to get the C2 name.
