Worth the purchase

I did a lot of research on what makes a good rower and this was the one I chose. I wasn't spending $2000 on a rower, and I knew the $200 ones weren't going to cut it.The pedals are stationary and all the parts that are going to have stress on them are metal (pedals and the beam the seat travels on). The display is ok for what it is, nothing special, and the resistance isn't anything too hard either but a rower is more about cardio and less about resistance training I think. The seat is soft and travels really smoothly along the beam.I'm 6' tall and 260lbs and, besides my gut getting in the way, this feels comfortable for me. I get a good stretch at both ends of the movement. This is my first rower though so I really have nothing to compare it to, but I would definitely recommend it if someone were to ask me about it.A little tip...it took me an hour and a half to assemble it, it's pretty straightforward if you can read instructions and look at pictures. The tip being....if you have the tools that they provide (a Phillips head screw driver, a set of Allen wrenches and a socket set) use them. I bet I could have shaved 30mins off the set up time if I wouldn't have been so lazy that I didn't want to go to my garage and get them. All in all, it's a good purchase. Buy it.

Solid product

I've used this rowing machine for about two months. So far so good. It was easy to assemble, was delivered on time, does not take much space, quite and makes you break some sweat. And all of this for a reasonable money.

Takes a while to put together

A lot of parts to put together. It takes a while. Quite a few hours. Once everything is together it works pretty smoothly. The movement is nice and smooth, not jerky. It gives a pretty thorough workout, you can definitely feel it in the core. The seat is comfortable for a while. After a long workout you can definitely feel it after a while. Holds on to an ipad pretty securely which helps make the workout go smoother, able to throw on a streaming network and good to go. The display is very clear and easy to read to see how many reps and how long you e been using the machine. It’s a pretty large machine, takes up a lot of room and it’s pretty heavy to move. Sturdy machine. While you’re working, it stays in place and doesn’t move.

Machine Is Sturdy With Smooth Movement, Has A Great App, And Is A Great Addition To Our Home Gym

It took me a little over 2.5 hours to put the rowing machine together, and it's a very sturdy machine once assembled. I measured it to be 6.25 ft in length, 3.5 ft in height, and 1.5 ft in width (This width made it easy to find a storage spot). It is a heavy machine (I weighed it to be almost 72 lbs), but it has 2 casters at the front, which made it easy to move around. As far as performance, the machine operates rather quietly, the handle bars are comfortable to hold, and the rowing movement is really smooth. The seat easily moves back and forth along the rail, and while the seat itself is tolerable, it's not as cushioned as I would like it to be. The footrests have adequate width, and are fixed in a comfortable angle for my feet. Also, they are size adjustable for longer feet, and the straps are strong and really kept my feet in place while working out. While the LED monitor display was easy to read, and I was able to see all of the measurements as I worked out, I found using the Kinomap app a much better option for working out with and viewing measurements. The app was easy to download and to set up, and the machine quickly connected to it via Bluetooth. Also, I was able to connect within the app to my Apple Watch through Apple Health. However, one issue that I had with the app was that the body measurements were only shown using the Metric System and not also in the Imperial (American) System.Speaking more about the app, it has a free version with structured and free ride (Set your own terms) workouts, plus it has a paid premium unlimited version ($11.99/Month or $89.99/Year) with scenic workouts and coaching videos. The premium version does have a 44 day trial period for free. One other thing: The rowing machine has a 1 year warranty. My wife and have had the chance to use the rowing machine numerous times over the past 5 weeks, and we both agree that it is very close to a full body workout. I like that it has 10 different resistance levels, because it made my workouts even more challenging. Also, I like to use it as a warmup machine before I lift weights.Overall, I and my wife both like the rowing machine, and it is a great addition to our home gym.

Perfect for a Full-Body Workout Without Stressing My Knees

I got the BOTORRO BW5 rowing machine, and it has completely transformed my workouts. The quality of this machine is exceptional, and everything was exactly as described. It feels sturdy and well-built, with smooth motion and a comfortable seat that makes even longer sessions enjoyable. What I love most is how versatile it is. The dual air and magnetic resistance system gives me just the right amount of challenge, whether I'm going for a high-intensity session or something lighter. The 10 resistance levels are perfect for adjusting as I improve, and it’s gentle on my knees, which is a big plus for me.This rowing machine is great for a full-body workout. In just 20 minutes, I feel like I’ve worked nearly every muscle, all without leaving the house. The built-in display is easy to read and helps me track my progress, and the adjustable tablet stand makes it easy to follow along with fitness apps. The bonus Kinomap subscription has been a fun way to stay motivated, too.The vertical storage design is a lifesaver for saving space in my home gym. It’s easy to move and tuck away when I’m done. Overall, this is a fantastic addition to any home gym, and I couldn’t be happier with it. Highly recommend!

Rowing my way to fitness at home

Assembly took longer than I expected - about 4-5 hours spread over two days - but I didn't mind as I wanted to get everything right, and it was actually quite fun. Once set up, using it wasn't diffucult since I've used rowing machines before. It's impressively smooth and quiet, making it comfortable to use for extended periods. Rowing in general is just a great full-body workout, and it can engage all my muscle groups. There's an option to use Kinomap, which is the app that partnered up with the manufacturer, and you'll need to code from the manufacturer to activate it. I prefer following rowing workouts on Apple Fitness. The machine's magnetic resistance system provides a challenging workout, and therere are 10 resistance levels so you can adjust the intensity as needed. The LED display is clear and easy to read, and there's also the adjustable tablet stand should you need it.Although it's not exactly portable, I can lift and roll it to different spots in my home, and the vertical storage option is perfect for saving space.

Solid Rowing Machine

The BOTORRO BW5 Rowing Machine has stepped up my home workout game. From start to finish, it’s been a rewarding experience. Assembly took about 30-40 minutes (my advice is to have the tools ready), it was smooth sailing. There is no frustrating moments for the assembly here. Once assembled, I noticed how sturdy and well-constructed it felt. Every component is solid, with nothing loose or flimsy, and the handle is surprisingly comfortable to grip, even during intense sessions. In terms of its performance, the blend of air and magnetic resistance offers a workout that’s not only powerful but also incredibly smooth. Adjusting through the 10 resistance levels feels seamless, and it accommodates everything from a light warm-up to a high-intensity rowing session. The ergonomic seat? A lifesaver. Even after an hour-long session, I stay comfortable without awkward shifting around. Plus, the machine is overall quiet. I can row in the early morning in a different room without worrying about waking my spouse up.The LED screen is simple yet functional, delivering instant stats to keep me on track. But the real highlight for me is its Bluetooth-enabled FTMS compatibility. Connecting to fitness apps like Kinomap was easy and fast, and the included 44-day Kinomap trial was an awesome bonus. It made workouts more interactive and engaging. What we need to be aware of is that the subscription will incur a monthly cost after the trial. The adjustable tablet stand above the display is also a thoughtful addition, holding 7-10 inch tablets securely, so I can stream workouts via Kinomap or even catch up on shows while rowing. One thing to note: this machine, like most rowers, is a bit heavy. Good thing is that it’s still manageable for one adult to move around. My only nitpick is the lack of clear warranty information: something I’d love to have upfront for peace of mind.

Klasse Rudergerät, um sich zu Hause fit zu halten

Habe nun meine erste Stunde auf dem Rudergerät absolviert. Nichts klappert oder wirkt billig. Ich bin also voll zufrieden.
